What We Talk About When We Talk About Me is an ongoing performance project in which I invite strangers to sit with me, have a drink, and talk: the only caveat being, we can only talk about me. The participant is invited to sit with me for the "length of a drink", during which time I will respond to any question or comment posed by them with complete honesty and, if necessary, graphic detail.

It is narcissistic. It is solipsistic. It is exposition.

Deriving its name from Raymond Carver's short story What We Talk About When We Talk About Love, the conversations created by the piece exist somewhere between blind date-style small talk and a talk therapy session. It is not about dialog, this is a monolog.
